The Isla Vista Food Co-op is a community-owned natural foods cooperative, serving the people of the tri-counties (and beyond!) since 1972.

What began as an experiment in food distribution at Anis q'Oyo park in the late sixties in Isla Vista has become a storefront food co-op highly regarded for its sustainable business practices and high quality foods.

The only SB County Green Business Award winning grocery store (2005) in the Tri-Counties area, the Co-op uses its vast community resources to create a store that not only overflows with fresh-off-the-farm produce, but also unique and independent items that you can't find anywhere else.

Whether the aisles are overflowing with excited children on a school tour, or a delivery being stocked by stoked staff members, the Co-op is sure to become a regular destination for your local, organic, fair trade, shade-grown, farmer-owned, vegan, vegetarian, kosher, raw, gluten free and all around sustainable ways of being.
