The Wedge Community Cooperative is the largest single-site grocery co-op in America. Located between Uptown and downtown Minneapolis, the Wedge has been drawing food lovers, health conscious folks, and ethical shoppers to our store since 1974. Mpls-St. Paul Magazine ranked our co-op as #22 in the Best 100 Things About the Twin Cities (below Children's Theater, but above Prince!), and the Wedge is proud to offer the first United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) certified organic meat department and juice bar in the nation.

We also offer a wide array of earth-friendly, fairly traded, and organic goods at Wedge Worldwide, our online general merchandise store.

Our mission as a natural foods co-op is to provide a diverse selection of highest quality, fairly-priced products and a deepening understanding of their importance to our members, employees and community. To achieve this we will earn the loyalty of our member-owners through an ongoing commitment to service; forge a deepening bond between sustainable local producers and the co-op community; and build upon cooperative principles and values.
