Lakewinds Natural Foods is a full-service cooperative grocery serving the West metro suburban Twin Cities for over 30 years with locations in Minnetonka and Chanhassen, Minnesota.

The heart of the co-op has always been the people involved. Lakewinds enjoys a high level of commitment from its nearly 10,000 members, other customers, staff, and board of directors. Each Lakewinds' team member--from our creative cooks to our knowledgeable customer service staff to our purchasing specialists--is dedicated to offering the highest quality products and service available.

The Lakewinds' flagship store, Lakewinds Classroom, and our administrative offices are located in Minnetonka. What began in 1972 as a small buying club staffed by several members of the local St. Luke Church is now an 18,000 square-foot store complete with extensive salad bar, deli, meat, produce and wellness department, spacious aisles, and helpful staff.

Nestled in the corner of the Minnetonka, Lakewinds deli is an oak wood-fired tile oven where our artisan chefs cook specialty wood-oven pizza. Order in advance for full pizza, or enjoy a slice in the store.

An expansive home goods department offers Safecoat low-VOC paints, as well as garden supplies, books, natural clothing and linens, therapy lights, juicers, imported kitchen utensils, and garden supplies. The Minnetonka store also features a cafe surrounded by glass and natural light, where customers meet for coffee or to gather over a nutritious meal. We have free Wi-Fi in the deli seating area.
