"We’re delighted to have someone with Paula’s deep co-op experience, strong leadership skills, and clear vision for thriving co-ops join the NCGA team," said Robynn Shrader, NCGA's chief executive officer.

“I am very excited to continue working with cooperatives; the local communities they build and choices they provide rock my world," said Gilbertson. “NCGA is a dynamic organization, and I look forward to joining a great team and serving our member needs so that they may continue to offer value to natural food co-op owners and shoppers everywhere.”

Gilbertson will report to C.E. Pugh, NCGA's Development Team Director, and will be based in NCGA’s St. Paul, Minn. office.
